She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kelly and Enola Kelly (Spencer); her husband Christopher Smit; and her son Mark Smit. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Smit (Anita) of Maine, Laurel Marsh (Tim) of Kalamazoo and Lon Smit of Paw Paw; her daughter-in-law Nancy Smit of Battle Creek; and her sisters-in-law, Lynn Yager (Fred) and Judy Smit. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
