He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Elgersma and Wilhemina "Sally" Elgersma (Start); and his sister Carol. He is survived by: his wife Mary Brower; his children, Steve Elgersma of Portland, OR and Emmy Ellis (Harry) of Dorr; and his grandchildren, Lydia and Caleb.
