With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Maag of Otsego, Michigan, who passed away on January 23, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maag and Lila Maag (Teller); his stepmother Frances Maag; and his son-in-law Bob Leslie. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Spitzner; his children, Michael J. Maag (Misti) of Texas, Pamela Basey (Clint) of Texas and Amanda O'Brien (Paul) of Texas; his stepchildren, Michael Hiscock and Lory Enos; and his siblings, Harry Maag (Beverly) and Vicki (Walt). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of John may be made to Kindred Hospice, Shriners Hospitals or Christian Neighbors.
