He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Agnes; and his siblings, Garrett, Henry, Victor, Anita Shoemaker and Victoria Van Ravenswaay Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Courtney of Kalamazoo, Michigan.; his daughters, Katherine and Karen; his grandchildren, Kenneth, Kevin, Keith, Kory and Karl; and his siblings, Fred, Vincent, Bob, Timothy, August, Jim and Alida Decamp. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and more cousins, nieces and nephews.
