He is survived by: his son David Hurlbut (Marta); his grandchildren, Marta Huerta, Aime Cano (Juan Sr.), Jose Roldan, Maurisa Leslie, Natesha Hurlbut and Shenea Hurlbut; his sister Janet Lamper (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Sherry Hurlbut and Robert Confer (Kathy). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
