He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mooney and Dorothy Mooney (Berry). He is survived by: his wife Viola Hallett; his children, Mike Mooney (Sandy) of Otisville, Bill Mooney (Carol) of Otisville, Theresa Lewandowski (Roman) of Tuscon, AZ, Cindy Schaaf (Dale) and Shawn Norris (Byron) of Otisville; and his siblings, Barbara Smith, Jaccia Sager and Judy Teeter. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Atherton United Methodist Church.
