He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Summerfield and Clara Summerfield; his daughter Dawn Rockwell; and his grandson Noah Rockwell. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Cheryl Layman (Jack); and his grandchildren, Jared Layman (Lindsay), Cristen King (Charles), Ryan Rockwell, Cara Stone (Joel), Amber Miller (Alex), Joel Layman and James Layman. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
