He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Phillips and Helen Phillips (Shelson); and his siblings, Joanne Campbell, John, Paul, Chuck and Barbara Hathaway.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Pickering; his sons, Jeffrey (Michelle), Mark (Lori), Pete (Denise) and Steven "Toot" (Julie); and his grandchildren, Levi, Krystal, Amanda, Jennifer, Jody, Terri and Alison.
