He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. MacLachlan and Sarah MacLachlan (Noble); and his wife Marjorie Layman. He is survived by: his children, Tina MacLachlan, Erica MacLachlan and Edward MacLachlan III; his grandchildren, Cathryn-Grace MacLachlan, Hannah, Taylor Singley and Jay MacLachlan; his great grandchild Kaid Alexander Guy Goffena; and his close friends, Kelley Nichols and Michael Bice. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post #321. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
