He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas and Elaine (Robison); and his brother Daniel Fox. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Hamilton; his siblings, Diane Fox, James Fox (Karel) and Sarah Bruns (Christopher); his stepdaughter Jasmine Hite (David); his grandchildren, Leif, Julian and Nolan Bourbeau; and his sister-in-law Pam Fox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
