He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bey and Bertha Bey (Bartz); his son Edward Bey; and his siblings, Arthur, Lillian Domke, Helen Kihn and Ruth Dalhke.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Kurkerewicz (Cole); his daughter Sandra Light; his daughter-in-law Barbara Bey; his grandchildren, Rebecca Bey, Thomas Light II (Kristin) and Christine Roulo (Bob); and his great grandchildren, Kayla Richmond (James) and Joshua Roulo (Delisa). He is also survived by 3 great-great grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
