He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orrin McConnell and Ruth McConnell (Anderson); his wife Karen; his children, Scott McConnell (Alicia) of La Grande, OR and Nicole McConnell of La Grande, OR; and his sister Terri Konecki of Alpena, MI. He was also cherished by 2 grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
