She is survived by: her mother Eve Bowditch (Miller) of Clermont, Florida; her husband Doug Gier; her children, Sarah Mellon of East Lansing, Matt Mellon of Homer and Tiffany Mellon of Pittsford; her grandchildren, Connor, Lexi and Lenore; her stepsons, Erik Gier (Rachel) of Pittsford and Jacob Gier (Andrea) of Pittsford; her stepgrandchildren, Graycen, Owen, Dawson and Aurora; and her siblings, Amy Biddle (Dennis) of Montpelier, Ohio, Theron Clymer of Canon City and Tony Clymer (Janice) of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
