He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jr. McCulley and Margaret McCulley (Bush); his son Merral McCulley; and his siblings, Jane, Jim, Garrold, Leonard, Robert, Virgil and Esther.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Sargent (Jeffery) and Juanita McCulley-Megan Rose; and his siblings, Joe McCulley and Sharon Bryan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
