With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Elton Nichols of Osseo, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolan John and Mary Pearl Nichols (Michel); his siblings, Dean Nichols, Dan Nichols, Don Nichols, Martha Lee and Ruth Mary Johnson; and his nephew Alan Max Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Nichols; and his children, Marlin Nichols (Kimberly) of Lakeland, FL, Timothy Nichols of Osseo, MI, Sharalyn Watters (James) of Waldron, MI, Arlene Yaney (Lonnie "Duane") of Winchester, IN, Louise Martin (Daniel) of Sheridan, IN and Stephen Nichols of Hillsdale, MI. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
