She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Welker and Geraldine Welker (Taylor); and her sister Mary. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Bauerly (Richard) of Hillsdale, Sherrie Abrams (John) of Hillsdale, Mark Shirey (Erica) of Holland and Matthew Shirey (Melinda) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Eric Hepker, Ashley Kunkel (Keith), Adam Bauerly (Rebecca), Abbey LoPresto (Matt), Mya, Emma Shirey, Jessica Haywood (Ryan), Sophie, Phoebe, Sam and Daphanie Maddox; and her sister Betty Pittenger of Lansing.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Congregational Church or Hospice of Hillsdale County.
