He was predeceased by: his father James J. Burnette; his brother Jim Burnette; and his sister-in-law Georgia Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Verlus; his daughter Stacy Taft (Jeff); his grandson Jason Taft; his niece Julie Burnette; and his nephew Jim Burnette.
