With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Alan Wedell Fortney of Oscoda, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilman Fortney and Mildred Fortney (Smith); and his brother-in-law Rick Robb. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta; his daughters, Angela Ross (Michael), Tonya Straley (Shannon), Cassie Blascyk (Tom) and Amber Foote (Josh); his siblings, Lee Fortney, Lynn Robb and Debbie Betanio (Pete); and his grandchildren, Madeline Piatek (John), Nathan, Olivia, Ryan, Emma, Rowen, Makena, Charlotte, Atarah, Lucas and Raynor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
