He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sandra Matthews (Charles) and Samuel Liechty; his wife Kelley Liechty (Matthews); his children, Scott Jr. (Alyssa), Steven (Julia), Drew (Megan), Nicole (Daniel) and Melissa; his grandchildren, Samuel, Beau, Dale, Hank, Dayne, Madden, Max, Gage, Harper, Harlynn and Archer; his siblings, Samuel (Rhonda) and Seina (Greg); his nieces, Megan and Sara; and his nephew Justin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be donated to the American Diabetes Association diabetes.org.
