With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter F. Bovan of Oscoda, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bovan and Dorothy Bovan (Villemure); and his stepfather Robert Villemure. He is survived by: his wife Susan Bovan; his children, Jennifer Nattress (Mark) of Blandon, PA, Nicholle Bailey (Chris) of Atlanta, GA and Jeremy Bovan of Tacoma, WA; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Bovan of Marquette, MI; his sisters, Ann Bovan of Oscoda, MI, Joan Myles (Dan) of Oscoda, MI and Janice LaVigne (LeRoy) of Wilber, MI.; his grandchildren, Taylor Nattress, Braden Nattress, Samantha Bailey, Casie Bailey, Logan Bovan, Brooks Bailey and Lincoln Bovan; and his nephews, David Langley, Jon Langley, Brent Demicoli, Dan Myles and Mike Myles.
In lieu of flowers, in his honor, and to keep his memory alive for decades to come, Pete's family has established a fund in partnership with the Oscoda Education Opportunity Foundation.
