She was predeceased by: her husband Chesley Winn Summerville; her parents, John Edward Barrett and Marjorie Rosetta Cargile Barrett; her sister Linda Sue Barrett Shaw; her great-nephew Triston Williams; and her friends, James and Ann Reynolds.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Hynes (James) of Virginia and Donna Hughes (Danny) of New Hampshire; her granddaughters, Kelly Hughes Miltner (A. J.) of New Hampshire and Kathryn Hughes of Pennsylvania; her great grandchildren, A. J. Miltner and Stella Miltner of New Hampshire; her nieces, Kim Shaw Eli, Amanda Shaw, Sherron Summerville Mills (Stephen), Jackie Summerville Brown (Mike), Kim Summerville Couey (Tim), Jan Summerville Stegall and Robbin Summerville Addison; her brother-in-law Allen Summerville; her cousins, Cathy Cargile Paolini of Georgia and Bob Cargile (Helen) of Tennessee; her friends, Molly E. Lee of Oscoda, Debbie of Oscoda, Jonathan Schirmer of Oscoda and Linda Skodack of Oscoda; and her pet Teddy of Virginia. She is also survived by daughters and sons-in-law.
After her retirement, she was a volunteer for many years with the charity FISH, Inc. in Oscoda.
