With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merlin Wayne Griggs of Oscoda, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Griggs and Velma Griggs (Hartman). He is survived by: his wife Georgia Davis; his sons, Michael Griggs (Bobby), George Griggs, John Griggs (Grace) and Adam Griggs; his brother Duane Griggs (Shelly); and his grandchildren, Matthew, David, Kaylin, Claire, Emma, Andrew, Oliver, Erik, Melissa, Brandon and Kyle. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
