It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn L. Taylor of Oscoda, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brandt and Betty Brandt. She is survived by: her daughters, Bethany Dettmer (Mike), Amy Taylor, Amelia Wheaton (Bill) and Lauria Lee (Dylan); her grandchildren, Aidan Taylor, Mason Taylor, Bailey McCrea, Rylan Taylor, Maiya Dettmer, Micah Dettmer and Isaac Dettmer; her former husband David Taylor; her brothers, David Brandt, Michael Brandt (Judy) and Steven Brandt (Dana); and her pet Bella.
In lieu of flowers, we are accepting donations to set up a scholarship program in her name for future educators.
