We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2024, at the age of 66, Leonard John Appleby of Oscoda, Michigan, born in New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donna Foerch, Debra Carlson, Shirley Appleby and David Appleby; and his son Matthew Knoop.
He is survived by: his wife Deb; his children, Jeremy Appleby-Midkiff, Joshua Appleby-Opferkuch (Jan), Mandy Appleby-Harmon (Mike), Robby Knoop (Beth), Julie Beardesly (Raymond), Angie Knoop and Donny Knoop; and his siblings, Carlton "Boco" Leger, Jr. (Vicky), Albert Leger (Claudine), Cynthia Appleby-Barone (Chris), Nancy Cordero (David), Naomi Leger and Ann Marie Leger. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
