It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie May Burton of Oscoda, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Alphia Clark; her husband Russ Burton; and her daughter Brenda Hawkins. She is survived by: her children, Roger Adams (Cindy) of West Branch and Tina Dewey (Mark) of Flint; her grandchildren, Roger Adams III, Mark Dewey Jr. (Michelle), Jessica May Davis (Jesse), Melanie Gipson (Jeremy), Zachary Burton (Amber) and Joshua Burton (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Evan, Emma, Jayden, Tucker, Kylie, McKenzie, Evelynn and Olive; and her brothers, Albert Diemert (Linda) of Mission and Floyd Diemert (Joyce) of West Branch. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
