He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Johnson and Lillian Johnson (Reiter); his brother Ronald Johnson; and his granddaughter Casey Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Laura Johnson (Wolfe); his children, Teresa Yates (James), Anthony Ommani (Frances) and Kristin Johnson (Rebecca); his stepson Corey Aldrich (Jen); his siblings, Bob Johnson and Donna Schmidt (Richard); his grandchildren, Christopher Yates (Lydia), Matthew Yates (Anna), Sarah Miller (Rayne), Anna Yates (Chance), Anthony Johnson Jr. (Alese), Aneta Johnson (Noah), Chelsee Monnier, Clyde Whitney (Taylor), Samantha Aldrich and Beatrice Aldrich; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Miller, Coda Johnson, Carson Trier and Brody Fulco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alcona Humane Society.
