He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Fitzgerald of Key West, FL and Michelle Gaskill of Oscoda, MI; his grandchildren, David Hannert, Jesse Hannert, Chelsea Farr, Callan Hannert, Ashley Gaskill, Ariel Doviak, Shanea Virga, Kaley Fitzgerald, Cory Fitzgerald, Dale Fitzgerald, Jr., Myka Fitzgerald and Gabriel Fitzgerald; and his great grandchildren, Jace, Natalie, Sophia, Kaleb, Jakob, Kole, Koral, Brooklynn, Ryder, Aiden, Avery and Aurora.
