It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Schlagel (Oscoda, Michigan), born in Standish, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2019, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Henry and Shirley Schlagel (Muckenthaler); his wife Kathi Lynne Kennedy; his daughters, Sandra Schlagel, Patricia Schlagel and Melissa Schlagel; his stepchildren, Christina Johnson (Joe), Robert Kennedy, Dale Willett and Savannah Swartz (Kyle); and his siblings, Jack Schlagel, Betty Valley, Thelma Shillair, Shirl Piche, Richard and Samuel. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
