He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wainwright and Virginia Wainwright (Neering); his grandfathers, George Wainwright and Emil Neering; his wife Nancy June Bronson; and his siblings, Winifred Adamouski (Frank), Margaret Lesperance (Ed), Mary Finn (James), Dorothy VanOchten (Norbert), John Wainwright (Ellen Feavyear), Joseph Wainwright (Vera Rapp), Aileen Shepp (Ben) and F. James Wainwright.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa L. Mandeville (Gary) of Oscoda; his grandchildren, Eric R. Joseph of Florida and Stephanie L. Smith of Holly, Mich.; his daughter Kari K. Wainwright of Oscoda; and his sisters-in-law, Constance Gillings of Oscoda, Victoria Duley (Grant) of Sandusky and Jeanette Bronson of Cheboygan, Mich.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5300 N Huron Rd, Oscoda, MI 48750).
