He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Sherman and Lucy Sherman; his former wife Patricia Ann Sherman (Raths); his children, Josephine Marie, Jeffrey Jay Sherman and Jennifer Louise Miller (Sherman); his grandson David Keith LeCureux, Jr.; his sisters, Lucy Norene Hill (Sherman) and Eleanor Josephine Dougherty (Sherman); and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa A. Sherman of Oscoda, MI; his children, John Charles Sherman of Los Angeles, CA, Grant David Sherman of Atlanta, GA, Lucy Ann Fazely of Oscoda, MI and Allen Joseph Sherman of Port Orchard, WA; his children-in-law, Tracey Sherman of Plano, TX and Mark Miller of Felton, CA.; and his grandchildren, Jason Sherman, Sarah Sherman, Michelle Sherman, Matthew Miller, Jesse Sherman, Jeremy Fazely, Pam Goodman, Amanda Goodman, David Carter and Jenny Carter. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
