She was predeceased by: her parents, Hamilton Nichols and Etta Nichols (Peterson); her husband Fred Edward Ayers (Hank); her sons, Fred and Bruce Ayers; and her great grandchild Dominik Tippett.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Ayers, David Ayers (Sheryl), Dennis Ayers, Craig Ayers (Cyndy) and Brent Ayers (Kimberly); and her siblings, Fred Nichols (Julie) and Ethel Townsend. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
