He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Howard and Lillie Mae. He is survived by: his wife Marbara Childress; his children, Kirk Childress (Kim), Debra Nolen (John) and Robin Seth (Barry); his grandchildren, John Nolen (Kara), Kirk Nolen (Kathy), Kristan Gibbs (David), Ryan Seth, Nicole Nolen, Lindsay Wagner (Shawn) and Kevin Seth (Marla); his great grandchildren, Joelle, Livia, Austin, Wyatt, Audrey, Jewel, Lillian and Ty; and his siblings, Lacy Howard "Pug" Childress, Jr. and Dassa Demarius "Myrt" Hess. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
