With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene James Walkling of Ortonville, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Eugene James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladstone Walkling (Bill) and Leeta Walkling (Thompson); his son Greg Walkling; and his sister Marcia Witzman. He is survived by: his wife Connie Walkling; his children, Rick Walkling (Jennifer), Randy Gibson (Chris), Renda Bonasse (Tom), Robin Schilling, Renee Pietscyk (Jeff) and Richele Muller (Steve); and his siblings, John Walkling and Dorothy Erb. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
