He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn and Dorothy; his wife Sharon Richmond; his daughter Tammy Richmond; his son-in-law Michael Fox; his siblings, Ronald, Kenneth, Robert Richmond and Maxine Haskill; and his nephew Brian Gentry.

He is survived by: his children, Lori Cross (Michael), Cindy Fox and Dale Richmond II (Kimberly); his wife's children, Janice Gentry (Tim Egres), David Gentry, Becky Dawley (David) and Elizabeth Trombley; his grandchildren, Misti Gray (Paul), Stephen Fox, Adam Bushá (Rebecca), Alaina Cross (Nick Sova), Andrew Cross (Tayler), Elizabeth Richmond (Nate Belluso) and Emily Richmond; his great grandchildren, Austin, Kalyn, Danica, Mikayla Gray, Amelia, Hannah Bushá and Adaline Cross; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia, Judith and Janet Richmond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
