We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2021, at the age of 61, Charles Robert Markel of Ortonville, Michigan, born in Goodrich, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father William Perigo; and his stepsisters, Ruth Morgan (James) and Barbara Fearson (James). He is survived by: his mother Gloria Perigo; his sister Bev Markel; and his stepsister Florence Franklin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

“Gloria, I'm so sorry for your loss..Chatlie was such a great friend to my parents, Pat & Davis Anspaugh & to me. He used to go see my parents up north alot. He enjoyed bringing his 4 wheeler up, riding the trails with my dad & brothers. I remember when my mom gave him a perm..I laughed so hard!. Charlie was a great, fun loving guy. He will be forever missed. I see him in heaven catching up with my parents. R.I.P charlie”
