He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ruehs and Onita Ruehs (Schroeder); his wife Cynthia Hopkins; his son Thomas Ruehs; and his brother David Ruehs.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Ruehs (Teresa) of Orleans, Christine White (Joseph) of Lyons and Kari Bussell (Kirk) of Ionia; his grandchildren, Sadie Ruehs, Kinzee Bussell, Shaylee Bussell, Danica White and Colter White; his great grandchild Liam Post; his sister Patricia Klein (Ron) of Pewamo; and his sister-in-law Sue Ruehs of Lyons. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
