He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Conklin and Bernice Conklin (Martin); and his sisters, Donna, Charlene and Beverly.

He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Karie Clark (Mike) of Belding and Michael Conklin (Kim) of Orleans; his grandchildren, Justin Nicewander, Aaron Conklin (Kim), Jessica Kunnen (Klay) and Sean Clark (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Colette, Hailey, Jeremiah, Wyatt, Kayden, Knash and Cecelia; and his sisters, Carol Hansen of Grand Rapids and Janice Loper (Marco) of Cedar Springs.

Memorials may be given to the B Foundation or Devos Children's Hospital.
