She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Tyler; her son Rickey Peterson; and her siblings, Colleen Clayton and Zether Scott. She is survived by: her mother Marsha Bracken; her children, Amanda Myslenski, Cynthia Clute (Robert), Angie Rivers, Hollie Bowen, Nick Rivers and Rafael Hernandez; and her brothers, Randy Scott and Gerald Clayton (Robin Jo Witham).
