He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his sons, Andrew and Michael; his parents, Andrew Drakos and Joanna Drakos; and his sisters, Katherine Demopulos (Greg) and Christina Drakos. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.

“I just learned of Steve's passing through a mutual friend. Although I haven't seen Steven for many many years I often thought of him or conversed with him via Facebook. I was fortunate to meet Steve at DCL where we both graduated from law school. I will continue thinking of Steve and only hope I see him when I move on beyond this life. “Steve was a wonderful, loving man. He was best friends in high school with our son, Jeffrey, and we knew him well. When our son passed away suddenly at only 20 years old, Steve made it a point to keep visiting us to provide comfort. Steve continued to interact with us over the years. He supported us personally when we each ran for Orion Township Supervisor. We especially remember how excited he was when he adopted his twins. We'll always remember him with love.
