We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2021, at the age of 96, Martha Marie Rothgangel Blom of Orchard Lake, Michigan, born in Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bessie E. Rothgangel and Edwin L. Rothgangel; her sister Mary Wagner (Virgil); her husband Gustav Peter Blom; her children, Karen Spoto (Thomas) of Orchard Lake, MI, Julie Blom of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Kristin (Dudley) of Glen Ellyn, IL. and Gustav Peter Blom; her grandchildren, Drew Malone (Margaret), Michael Malone, Celia Meyer (Ronald) and John McKenna; and also, Anthony (Stacy) and Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Martha's name can be made to the Michigan Opera Theater or the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
