He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Gitlin and Gloria Baer; and his brother Bernard Gitlin. He is survived by: his spouse Roslyne Gitlin; his children, Julie Flashner (Michael), Jason Gitlin (Jen Furman), Joshua Gitlin (Melissa Liverman) and Tarin Gitlin (Robert Wine); his grandchildren, Evan Flashner, Leah Wine, Ben Wine, Noah Gitlin and Julian Gitlin; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Gitlin, Sharon Banks and Larry Corey (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
