With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Root of Orchard Lake, Michigan, born in Highland Park, Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alton Root to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, Kimberly Gowman (David), Gregory Root (Julie) and Kelly Root (Ann); his great grandchildren, Theodore and Maeve Kay Bruce; and his sister Sandra Thompson (Tim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
