He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Yrjana and Juliana Yrjana (Strang); his grandchildren, Cailey, Bella and Arthur; and his brother John.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Korkko of Houghton Canal; his children, Lisa Calhoun (Christopher) of Lowell, MI, Eric Yrjana (Kelly) of Buffalo, MN and Kevin Yrjana (Holly) of Cokato, MN; and his siblings, Mary Solosky (David) of Harvey, MI and Jim Yrjana (Acyne). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
