He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Ruuttila and Pearl Ruuttila (Kemila); his brother Paul W. Ruuttila; and his sister-in-law Freda Ruuttila. He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Byrnes (Gary) and Marie Kinnunen (James) of Ontonagon; his sister-in-law Helen Ruuttila of Wyomissing, PA; his nieces and nephews, Bryan Byrnes of Ontonagon, Scott Byrnes (Lisa) of Whitewater, WI, Sarah Ruuttila-Olson (Sean) of Ironwood and Kariina Holihan (Ryan) of Ontonagon; and his great-nephews, Timmy, Teddy Minier (Kate) of Ironwood, Lincoln, Chet and Jed Holihan of Ontonagon.
