He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Maki and Mabel Maki (Malenck); his grandfather Sam Maki; his siblings, Norman, Judi Paeske and Marilyn Kempen; and his nephews, William Maki and Cole Stamper.
He is survived by: his son Wesley Maki (Heather Funke) of Ootsberg; his granddaughters, Natasha and Jerrica; his siblings, Dennis, Charles "Chuck" Maki (Bonnie), Wade Maki (Ann), Dean Maki, Christina Blevins (Stephen) and Trudi Phillips (Scott); and his friend Steen.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers or plants, memorials be donated to the Greenland 4th of July Committee, Ontonagon County Animal Protection or your local cancer association:
