Myra Joyce Goddard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myra Joyce Goddard of Onsted, Michigan, born in Frankewing, Tennessee, who passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Thornton and Lillian Thornton (Wisdom); her siblings, Larry and Jerry Thornton; her son Kenneth Alverson; her husband Kevin Goddard of Onsted; her children, Kevin Alverson (Denise) of Adrian and Julie Porterfield (Dale) of Tipton; her grandchildren, Danielle Winzeler (Jeff) of Tecumseh, Forrest Porterfield of Tipton, Kyle Alverson of California and Lindsey Alverson of California; and her great grandchild Maddisyn Winzeler.

Myra loved working with the elderly, especially those suffering from mental illness and/or Alzheimer's Disease.
