She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Alfred and Betty Ruth Strand (Pask); her siblings, Carol Whelan, Sonja Rheese and Henry "Fred" Strand; her brothers-in-law, Bob Logan, Michael Whelan, Bob Rheese, Kevin Nolan and Greg DeClercq; her stepfather Hank DeSautel; and her close friend Jennifer Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Justin Yager; her children, Janéa Ford (Trevor) of Tecumseh and Rathe Yager (Samia) of Leamington, Ontario; her siblings, Donna Logan of Tecumseh, Joann DeClercq of Adrian, Marcelle Nolan of Adrian, Tina Eberly (Ivan) of Brooklyn, Terrence Strand (Mary) of Clinton, Mark Strand (Bertha) of Tecumseh and Mitchell Strand of Eaton Rapids; her stepsister Wanda Macomb of Ann Arbor; and her grandchildren, Blaize, Armani, Mila of Tecumseh, Madison and Aiden of Leamington, Ontario..
