He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dedafoe and Pauline Dedafoe (Hilliard); and his siblings, Kenneth Dedafoe, Joseph Dedafoe, Carl Dedafoe and Karen Kemper.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sue Dedafoe (Strouse); his daughters, Dawn Dedafoe of Onondaga and Amy Dedafoe; and his sister Gertrude Switzer of Holt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
