He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Carrie Bell Sherrell (Lawson); his great grandchild Eliza; and his siblings, Bob, Molly, Ruby, Fannie, George and Wayman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Sherrell (Bunker); his children, Ronda Auman (Al), Dawn Halladay (Carl "Corky"), Jeff Sherrell and Randall Sherrell (MaryAnn); his grandchildren, Aaron, Shawn (Amanda), Stephanie (Zac), Rachel, Sarah, Robyn (Nicole), Kasie (Ben), Randy II (BrookeAnn) and Miranda (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Malachi, Isaiah, Naomi, Gabriel, Charlytte, Colby, Cassius, Celiah, Banks, Ridley J., Leo, Fitz and Alexandra; and his sisters, Nancy and Linda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Alzheimer Association.
