He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dale and Nadine Leone Bodell (Stone); his wife Doris Bodell; his sons, Kenneth Bodell and Ronald Bodell; his siblings, Elyn Bodell, Lyle Bodell and Janet Patterson; and his sister-in-law Betty Bodell.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Hanks (James) of Pleasant Lake, Karen Bodell of Grass Lake and Russell Bodell of Onondaga; his grandchildren, Deren Bodell, Robert Hanks (Natalie), Andrew Bodell, Matthew Hanks (Sarah), Joshua Bodell (Taylor), Reighann Anders, Morgan Piepkow (Donald), Jordyn Bodell, Chase Vahoski and Hailee Vahoski; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Hadley, Brooks, Lucas, Emma, Zachary, Clayton, Oliver and Madelyn; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Bodell; and his siblings, Howard Bodell (Louise), Raymond Bodell (Patricia), Norm Bodell (Virginia), Myron Bodell (Roxanna), Myrna Corts (Michael) and Robert Bodell (Cathi).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mills Funeral Home - Shelly-Odell Chapel (518 S Main St, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Onondaga Township Fire Department or the Onondaga Community Church in loving memory of Kay Francis Bodell.
